Allston Trading, LLC, is a premier market maker in worldwide financial exchanges. We trade hundreds of different stocks, bonds, futures, options and other financial instruments in over 30 exchanges.

To be successful at this, we must understand the relationships between financial instruments and constantly adjust our orders in the market to reflect the current situation. Our internally-developed software decides when and where to buy and sell, and automatically places orders at exchanges around the world. We risk our own capital competing with Wall St. firms to provide the best prices for investors.

We have become a leading proprietary trading firm by combining the best and brightest technologists and traders. We believe we are creating the trading firm best prepared to thrive in the twenty-first century.
We work in small teams at Allston. We have minimal hierarchy. We eliminate the barriers between teams. The people that thrive here have an entrepreneurial, get-it-done attitude.

We have no customers, which means there is no marketing organization trying to guess what customers want. We don't have to worry about selling our ideas to anyone else.

We don't put anything between you and “the business.” Technologists and traders are the business. We are on the front line. We can see every day how our work matters.
