Entry-Level Java Developer

Total compensation to $100,000

The Entry-Level Developer position is responsible for keeping our trading systems up and running. You will configure trade system and infrastructure, and you will develop utilities, infrastructure and scripts to make the job easier and make systems more reliable. You will be first-line support, and when a problem occurs, it is up to you to diagnose it and work with your colleagues to fix it. This is a good job for a smart person entering the field.

We're looking for candidates with a couple of the following skills and attributes:

• Good core Java skills
• C++ experience
• Good C# skills
• Understanding of complex, multithreaded systems
• Experience with TCP/IP communication
• Solid Linux experience
• Good communication skills
• An ability to work in a high stress environment
• A person that is easy to get along with
